CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Topco Sales has announced 10 finalists in the Penthouse City Toys Contest, selected for having written the best fictional, erotic letters amongst the scores of entries submitted. The 10 finalists' stories are now available for viewing and voting at PenthouseCityContest.com. The general public, aged 18 and older, is eligible to vote. Voting closes on July 17, 2009. Winners will be announced on July 24, 2009.
"Voting for your favorite letter amongst the finalists in the Penthouse City Toys Contest is something we know people can get really excited about, share with their friends, and discuss with the larger community of Penthouse, Penthouse Letters magazine and Penthouse City Toys fans," said Amanda Byrd, director of licensing for Penthouse Magazine.
The Penthouse City Toys Contest, launched in support of five new Penthouse City Toys (Los Angeles, New Orleans, Paris, Rome, and Shanghai), will award one lucky winner $300 worth of Penthouse City Toys and the publication of his or her winning story in the December 2009 issue of Penthouse Letters magazine.
"Contestants were asked to write a fictional, erotic letter in the vein of those found in Penthouse Letters, and to incorporate the use of an adult novelty item into their story," explains Desiree Duffie, director of marketing and public relations for Topco Sales. "The 10 selected finalists clearly had fun creating exotic, fantasy-fulfilling escapades and, most importantly, really grabbed the attention of our panel of expert judges at Topco Sales."
