Topco Sales Announces Promotion, New Addition

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Adult novelty manufacturer Topco Sales has announced the addition of one new employee today and the prmotionof another.

First, Topco announced the promotion of Erica Heathman to Marketing Communications Manager. Heathman has been a member of the Topco staff for nearly three years. Prior to that, she served as the managing editor of AVN Novelty Business Magazine. She will be replacing Desiree Duffie, Topco Sales’ former Director of Marketing.

In her role as Marketing Communications Manager, Heathman will run the company’s Marketing & PR department and facilitate cross-functionality between her department and the Sales and Web departments among other duties.

"I’m honored to be promoted to Marketing Communications Manager for Topco Sales," said Heathman. "I have been in the industry for nearly a decade and in that time I have come to love and respect the industry and my colleagues. It gives me great satisfaction to once again be in a position to work with such wonderful people."

"We couldn’t be happier with our decision to promote Erica to Marketing Communications Manager," added Scott Tucker, CEO of Topco Sales. "Her hard work and dedication has been second to none throughout her time here at Topco and we can’t wait to see what she will do with this new level of responsibility."

Topco also announced the addition of Lynda Mort to its team of seasoned sales professionals. Having officially joined the company in April as an account executive, the announcement said Mort is now fully acclimated to her new position.

"With Lynda's incredible background in sales and management, she is a valuable asset to the Topco family," said Scott Tucker, CEO of Topco Sales. "In the two and a half months that she has been with us her outstanding customer service has really shined."

This position marks Mort's first within the adult novelty industry. Prior to joining the Topco team she owned and operated a high-end wedding planning business and spent three years as the Manager of Corporate Strategy for a Fortune 100 company.

"I'm thrilled to be working with one of the largest manufacturers in this industry," said Mort. "I have received the warmest welcome from both my coworkers and from my accounts."

In her spare time, Mort enjoys cooking, wakeboarding with her husband of five years and spending time with their two dogs, Lola and Dodger.
