Tonga BV was founded by Joop de Jonge in 1998 as an import/export company of adult novelties. It grew into selling not only to wholesalers but retailers as well. In 2004, Dream Toys was created to carry some of the products Tonga did not. They attribute the growth of the company to providing a diverse selection of products.
Tonga's aim to work with manufacturers that fit their idea, style and philosophy made for a natural union with BMS, which Wytze Wynia, CEO of Joop de Jonge, mentions in recent correspondence: “We are delighted to start with a fresh supplier like BMS, their products fit perfectly in our assortment.”
