LONDON—Conceptual designer and head of an English company known for creating high-end luxury pleasure products Shiri Zinn will participate in the Selling Sex exhibition later this month.
The opening of the show is set for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at the Mayfair headquarters of Show Studio, 1-9 Bruton Place, London, W1J 6LT. Selling Sex is an exhibition that features only female artists and examines their unique relationships to sex and the female nude.
Shiri Zinn centers her work on modern day perceptions of eroticism and empowerment. Her work represents a dynamic fusion of art, jewelry, fashion accessory and product design. She challenges the boundaries between what is deemed acceptable and unacceptable for public consumption, and questions value judgments made by key influencers including media, fashion and product industries.
Shiri Zinn completed her masters degree in Jewelry for Fashion at Central Saint Martins, London, prior to which she received two bachelor of arts honors degrees: one in fine arts and one in fashion design at Marketing Central Saint Martins, London.
Her work has gained much recognition, her past exhibitions include Museum of Sex, 5th Avenue, New York, 2008; Seduce Exhibition, Barbican Art Gallery, London 2007-2008; LA Erotic Museum, 2005. She was also a Top 10 finalist, International Bombay Sapphire Glass Awards, 2003 and gained the International Erotic Award 2002.
