RealTouch to Appear at Expomark Adult Novelty Event

MIAMI—Executives from RealTouch will meet retailers from around the country at the ExpoMark Adult Novelty Event to discuss marketing strategies for the popular interactive sex device for men. The expo takes place in the Mondrian Hotel Feb. 21-23 in South Beach.

"The 'speed-dating' format of ExpoMark is perfect for us because it will allow our team to show members of the trade exactly how RealTouch works and how it can become a huge retail hit," said Scott Rinaldo, director of sales and marketing for the innovative device that will be sold on the retail market this spring for the first time.

Up to now, the high-tech RealTouch has been has been available only through RealTouch.com and the website of its parent company, AEBN.

The RealTouch device uses advanced haptic technology to simulate the exact sexual experience being viewed on a computer screen. Rinaldo said he has already been negotiating deals with both adult and mainstream retailers.

"Everyone is interested, but they are blown away when they actually see how it works because they grasp the sales potential immediately," he said. "Interest in the device may go way beyond the adult category as well, with possible applications in the areas of health and well-being. The 30-minute presentation format at ExpoMark is a perfect showcase for us to show how it works and why it's a great product to stock."

Even with internet-only sales up to now, the company temporarily ran out of stock last summer because of heavy consumer demand, after receiving praise from media figures such as Howard Stern, who joked with listeners to his Sirius/XM show: "This is what I've been waiting for all my life!" Hustler magazine called RealTouch the "future of sex." Fleshbot said, "It's one of the most remarkable male sex toys we've ever seen."
