WASSERBILLIG, Luxembourg—Calvista Australia Party Ltd., Australia’s biggest supplier of erotic products, and master distributor of the pjur products in down under, invited pjur to the eighth annual AdultEx in Benowa/Queensland (near Brisbane).
From April 13-15, the trade fair that had been initiated by Calvista in 2005 became the Mecca for international producers and renowned Australian trade members. pjur’s sales manager Katrin Kühnrich and CEO Alexander Giebel were on location to present the pjur novelties and to meet the trade members in person.
Since pjur Woman Toy Lube & Clean and pjur Ultra Shine are new to the Australian market, these products were a focal point at the fair stand that impressed with its lounge style and it’s pjur-specific color palette.
The new pjur displays that had already been presented in Europe and the USA were another highlight. This latest display generation in five different sizes offers the right format for every store, no matter how much space there is, and there is a selection of different display images for every target audience and product category. These images turn the display into an attractive key visual that emphasizes the special shopping experience.
The maximum degree of flexibility that is provided by the range of wall, stand-alone, and counter displays, combined the modern design in the pjur corporate colors, and the emotional images on the front and back also left an impression with the Australian retail trade. The eye catchers offer additional product details and a high-quality acryl box that can be used as an info and test station. The sophisticated display concept led to so many orders during AdultEx that the first shipment—which had been deemed rather generous going into the event—was almost entirely sold out after the trade show.
The pjur seminar is a fixed item on the schedule of every AdultEx, and this year was no exception. The pjur marketing team had thought of something special of the trade audience this time and took them on a tour behind the scenes of pjur. A combination of film, photo, text and live presentations.
Apart from showcasing the new products for 2012, Alexander Giebel also introduced the 150 trade members to the pjur team and the company’s head office in Wasserbillig via a recorded walkabout with a video camera. With it’s different multi-media elements, the presentation was rich in variety and got a lot of positive responses.
The retailers with the strongest sales in Australia are invited to what is considered the country’s most important B2B trade fair, and given the great number of renowned producers at the event, these visitors could be certain to get comprehensive information about the latest products right at the fair stands and at the seminars.
