Phil Varone’s Tell-All Memoir 'Un-Philtered' Gets Second Printing

NEW YORK CITYUn-Philtered: Real Life On and Off the Rock 'n' Roll Tour Bus by rocker Phil Varone  has gone into its second printing as a trade paperback and remains posted as an e-book on Riverdale Ave Books (RAB) website. RAB is offering 25 percent off the price of the book for fans who type in code “ROCKSTAR” here through August 31.

The notorious rock drummer and comedian best known for his work with Saigon Kick and Skid Row is currently on a reunion tour with Saigon Kick. The tour has played to sold-out houses nationwide and continues with a performance Friday, August 9 at The Social, 54 North Orange Avenue in Orlando, where he will also do a book signing.

In Un-Philtered, Varone shares the hilarious exploits of his rock star life touring on a bus for weeks at a time. We learn about the man-band bonding rituals, the endless groupies, what it was like to sleep with more than 3,000 women and much more.

“Phil is a unique combination of talents. He has a no-holds-barred hilarious view of life and he wants you to know what he thinks of American culture, Donald Trump and reality TV, to name only a few topics he covers,” said RAB publisher Lori Perkins.

The book is also available through Amazon.com and other online retail venues.
