UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif.—Peekay Inc., the parent company for Lovers, A Touch of Romance and Condom Revolution adult stores, recently took home The “O” Award for Outstanding Retail Chain.
The “O” Awards, presented by AVN Media Network in conjunction with AVN Novelty Business, are designed to recognize the leading products, companies and more in the adult pleasure industry.

Peekay Inc. was started in Washington in 1980 by Heppenstall and her daughter, Kris Butt. Since opening their first retail store in 1981, the company has expanded their store count to 12 stores in California under the names A Touch of Romance and Condom Revolution, in addition to 20 Lovers stores in Washington The company has almost 300 employees, both part-time and full-time.
