CHESTER, England - Nice 'n' Naughty, considered one of England's premier adult shop chains, has crossed borders by acquiring five stores England, Scotland and Wales.
The new stores are part of the former Clone Zone chain, which was recently facing serious financial troubles before being bought out by Libertybelle U.K. Ltd.
The purchase of stores increases Nice 'n' Naughty's presence from 11 to 16 locations. The official transfer will take place on Feb. 1, at which time the Clone Stores will be refitted and restocked to fall in with Nice 'n' Naughty's look and feel.
Philip Price, currently Nice 'n' Naughty's regional manager for Lancashire and West Cheshire, will become area manager for the new stores. Price, a former manager with Clone Zone, has more than seven years' experience within the gay retail market plus three years with Nice 'n' Naughty.
