LOS ANGELES—Munkey Barz officials announced they will conduct a 2014 Munkey Barz Promo Tour, Feb. 25 through March 18. The tour will hit four of the largest annual events in the United States: Mardi Gras, Panama City Spring Break, Daytona Bike Week and Carnival Miami.
Throughout the tour, Munkey Barz will reach out to more than 2.5 million consumers ages 21-45 who spent more than $1.5 billion last year alone. The MunkeyBarz crew will make the month-long journey on a tour bus wrapped with images of the Munkey models—known as Munkies—and company logos. The bus will offer plenty of opportunities for sponsors to co-brand at any level, including at each stop of the tour.
Munkey Barz will be holding regional Munkey model contests in order to cast the hot new 2014 Munkies who will accompany the tour.
The 2014 Munkies will also be featured in the Munkey Models Show and dance at select nightclubs along the tour.
"We are excited to be taking the show on the road in such a big way,” said CEO Munkey Mike. “Cranking it off at home in New Orleans for Mardi Gras is going to set the tone, and it's gonna be one giant kick-ass party for a whole month non-stop! I want 10 girls on this bus, and I want to reach as many people as we can touch! This is where we need to be, and this is how we're gonna do it. It's gonna be a fun trip!"
The tour will make the following stops:
Feb. 25-March 1: Mardi Gras in New Orleans
March 2-6: Spring Break in Panama City, Fla.
March 8-10: Carnival Miami in Miami
March 11-18: Daytona Bike Week in Daytona Beach
