NEW YORK—Magic Silk, makers of the Exposed line of lingerie, recently featured the collection in a fashion show at the Sky Room Times Square.
The venue stands 34 floors above the neon lights and excitement of Times Square. But the hottest action was inside the club’s panoramic glass walls on the night of September 17th, as Magic Silk held its first ever fashion show before a capacity crowd.
Cameras flashed and guests applauded as a dozen of New York City’s top models traversed the runway in an array of the sexiest lingerie the intimate apparel industry has to offer. The stunning surroundings and insistent beat of techno music provided the perfect atmosphere to showcase such top selling collections as Club Seamless, Neon Lace, Liquid Onyx, Party Girl, Hypnotic Swirl, Midnight Bound, Bands of Lace, Champagne Lace, Satin Treasure, Fishnet and Black Widow. Magic Silk produces fashions for the club, parties and the boudoir, and the show reflected their catalog’s amazing variety.
Produced by Hillary Flowers with media coverage by McPete Sez, the show was an unqualified success.
“Tonight, we didn’t just make a fashion statement, we made a fashion exclamation” said Jeff Baker, president of the Hauppauge, N.Y., company he created in 1992. “Ultra -sexy lingerie has become haute couture, and the enthusiastic reception we received tonight is proof positive. The future of the intimate apparel industry is very bright.”
Magic Silk has been introducing new collections of erotic lingerie and fantasy costumes at a record pace, and 2013 has proven to be the most profitable year in company history. Baker regards their first Manhattan fashion show as a perfect way to celebrate the company’s success, and the hard work of their design, manufacturing and marketing teams.
Retailers and consumers do not have to wait for the next show to appreciate the creative, cutting edge fashions from Magic Silk, however. The company’s web site, is every bit as revealing as the garments themselves.
