Lovehoney Celebrates Double Win at the ETO Awards

BATH, U.K.—For the second year running, Lovehoney has been voted Best Online Retailer at the ETO Awards. The Bath-based company was also voted Most Innovative Retailer at the June 22 event awards ceremony in Birmingham.

Lovehoney co-owner Neal Slateford said, "This means so much to Lovehoney because the awards are chosen by the people most important to us: our customers. It was another fantastic awards night from ETO and we were thrilled to do the double."

Lovehoney has built up a 60,000-strong community on its forum and they provide vital feedback on products and earn discount on products through its loyalty scheme.

Lovehoney's Design A Sex Toy competition has become an annual event and there are two new toys in production following last year's competition. This year's competition is still open for entries, with £5,000 worth of prizes up for grabs..

The past winner, Sqweel inventor Trevor Murphy, has earned more than £100,000 in royalties for coming up with the idea for the world's first oral sex simulator.

Recently Lovehoney has been subject to a six-part fly-on-the-wall documentary, Frisky Business, on the Sky and Virgin channel Lifetime. As the official merchandiser for Fifty Shades of Grey sex toys and pharmacy products, Lovehoney is gearing up for another very busy year as the film is due to launch on February 13, 2015.
