ATLANTA—The “O” Awards took place at the 2010 AVN Show on Aug. 7 in Hollywood, Fla., and Liberator and Tenga took home the award for Overall Product Design for Men for the Tenga Egg.
AVN’s “O” Awards recognize innovative and outstanding companies that raise the bar in the novelty and sex toy industry. Pre-nominations were accepted from June 1, 2009, through May 31, 2010, and the final nominations were selected from the pre-nomination list by a panel of industry professionals.
“It is an honor to receive the ‘O’ Award for Overall Product Design for Men,” said Michael Kane, director of business development at Liberator. “As Tenga’s exclusive branding partner for North America, we fully believe in the unique design of Tenga’s innovative products. It’s nice to see others recognize that as well.”
“Tenga Eggs are disposable male masturbation sleeves with varying internal textures. There has never been anything like them before, and we are proud to have designed a product that is responsible for not only improving the industry but also the general well-being of people everywhere,” said Tsutomu Matsumoto, president and founder of Tenga Co. Ltd.
In addition to the successful win for the Tenga Egg, Liberator also received another nomination for the Liberator Wing for Outstanding Non-Powered Product. The first in a series of positioning mounts, Liberator Wing provides hands-free enjoyment of a dildo or vibrator, changing the way in which sex toys are used.
Tenga Eggs, the winner of the “O” Award for Overall Product Design for Men, and Liberator Wing are available for wholesale purchase exclusively through Liberator. For more information visit the website at Liberator.com.
