SAN JOSE, Calif.-Swedish designer brand LELO was celebrating on the evening of Jan. 19 after winning AVN’s Best Product Line for Women award for their Insignia personal massagers. Competing against all the other major product lines at the ceremony in Las Vegas, Insignia was named clear winner in terms of quality and design given ongoing feedback from retailers and distributors.
This latest AVN award marks the third major achievement in just over one week a LELO: at the Xbiz Awards, the Swedish brand took home top prize when named Pleasure Product Company of the Year as well winning recognition for Excellence in Product Packaging.
Recognition for the Insignia line came in part due to the fact it has tripled in size since its 2010 three-product release. Now featuring 9 products including the Red Dot Award-winning Tiani 2 couples’ massager and the 2012 AVN Award-winning Smart Wand, the line succeeds in appealing to a wide variety of customer desires. It is also distinguished by its levels of innovation, including groundbreaking SenseMotion technology in its remote-controlled massagers, and SenseTouch technology where vibrations respond to contact with the skin.
According to U.S. Sales and Marketing Director Donna Faro, LELO’s early 2013 success is a sign of things to come.
“We seriously couldn’t ask for a better start to our 10 year anniversary celebrations which are due to begin from March onwards,” Faro said. “Our major achievements at not just one, but both of our industry’s top awards ceremonies reinforces LELO as the world’s pleasure authority, and gives us immense encouragement to continue offering the best products on the market.”
