SAN FRANCISCO—Jimmyjane has hired Katie Reifman as its newest account executive on its sales team.
Reifman brings more than eight years of sales experience to the Jimmyjane team, with an emphasis on beauty, spa and wellness products. Reifman will work closely with Alicia Sinclair, vice president of worldwide sales and business development, to grow existing adult retail partners as well as develop new retail opportunities in the mainstream.
The addition of Reifman is timely: Consumer interest and acceptance of the premium pleasure product category has been on a steady incline in recent years. Her addition to the team is a strategic next-step to move Jimmyjane, and the category, further into the mainstream retail environments while nurturing and building upon the customer experience in sex-positive boutiques. Reifman has a proven track record in fostering successful retail partnerships, developing retailer education platforms and driving sales revenue and growth.
Most recently, she worked at Algenist, a luxury skin-care line, managing key retailers, such as Sephora and Nordstrom. While at Algenist, Reifman leveraged the brand’s innovation and differentiation properties to successfully penetrate the market.
