BRISBANE, Australia—Interactive Life Forms (ILF), parent company for Fleshlight brand products, has officially expanded operations to Brisbane. The geographic expansion is the third undertaken by Interactive Life Forms since opening a manufacturing and distribution facility in Seville, Spain, in 2010. The move comes on the heels of the launch of a distribution center in Mississauga, Canada, in late 2013.
ILF will continue to manufacture and distribute from its company headquarters in Austin, Texas, but as Chief Operating Officer Brian Shubin explained, adding more faciities "brings our products and services to new markets and makes the Fleshlight experience increasingly accessible to our fans around the world."
Shubin did not comment on immediate plans for additional global expansion, but he did indicate that there were a number of foreign markets on a "short list" for future growth, including China, India and Brazil.
"We continue to pride ourselves on producing quality products for men which encourage a healthy and sexually responsible lifestyle," Shubin added. "We believe that our core mission is applicable to any market and that the consumer is eager to incorporate our products into their lives."
Expansion into Australia had been under way for several months and coincides with a sponsorship at Sexpo in Sydney Australia, one of the world's largest adult shows for consumers. The event takes place August 1-3, and Fleshlight Girl Stoya will make an appearance to interact with and meet her Australian fans.
With local shipping methods and payments in Australian dollars, ILF's expansion in Australia has been welcomed by the local customer base and Australian business partners alike. Fleshlight Australia will service Australia as well as a number of surrounding countries, including New Zealand and parts of Asia.
