HIGHSTOWN, N.J.—IVD/ECN gathered to walk in the spirit of charity when they celebrated tWEnty with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Six Flags in Jackson, N.J., early last week.
Team “Boobs R Us” was recognized with an award for “Largest New Group,” boasting 68 registrants comprised of staff, friends, and family.
“It is an honor to be recognized as Largest New Group at the 20th Anniversary of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Six Flags,” says IVD / ECN Human Resources Manager Sue Glick, who coordinated team registration for the charity walk. “It was an inspiring event and we are looking forward to participating in the years to come.”
“Breast cancer awareness is a cause that has always been important to me and my family, as well as the organization,” says IVD/ECN’s Frank K. “It is our hope that our year-round efforts will bring us closer to finding a cure.”
As a group, IVD/ECN raised more than $2,000, continuing the distributor's ongoing charitable efforts and dedication to the cause of breast cancer awareness.
