SACRAMENTO—The Home Pleasure Party Plan Association (HPPPA) partnered with a number of its associate members during the International Lingerie Show last month in Las Vegas to conduct product presentations during HPPPA’s Product Knowledge Day program.
In order to offer opportunities for business enhancement, HPPPA conducts a number of educational activities for its home party plan owners during the lingerie show. On April 8, presentations were conducted by Jeff Northup of SX Science Labs; Scott Watkins of Wet International; Emily Uhrik and Michele Treyes of Standard Innovation (We-Vibe); Leslie (Lulu) Andersen-Daniels of NS Novelties; and Emily Silva of Sportsheets.
“HPPPA conduct Product Knowledge Day to not only educate our party plan owners about what’s new but to also lend additional support to our manufacturer members in getting the word out about their product offerings,” said Kim Varner, member liaison/member services and benefits manager of HPPPA. “We appreciate our manufacturer members so much. We truly value the relationships we’ve built and we are appreciative of their participation in our programs.”
Members learned about product usages, ingredients, benefits and marketing ideas. HPPPA member Francine Terrell of Salacious Treats (Antioch, CA.) had the following to say about Product Knowledge Day: “I enjoyed the presentations because they gave me an opportunity to try it and learn how to sell it before I go see my distributor(s) to order.”
