Fun Factory Creates Shapely Display to Showcase Smartballs

BURBANK, Calif.—At this week's International Lingerie Show, the Fun Factory booth was bright with color for the company's Pride marketing campaign. Also in evidence was a brand-new display for its Smartballs that demonstrates to retail consumers how these Kegel exercisers are used.

The sales-boosting display solution is made of clear acrylic cut to resemble the female anatomy with a slot for the Smartballs to sit, showing their placement in the vagina. Customers are sure to take notice of Smartballs in retail locations using this eye-catching display.

Explained Emile Rosanvallon, director of marketing at Fun Factory USA, “After the success of the acrylic Stronic swing display, we created an equally functional and aesthetically pleasing design for the Smartballs display. This new Smartballs holder, while very elaborate, still allows shoppers to pick up the product and touch the Smartballs before deciding to purchase them.”

The complete merchandising kit for Smartballs also includes an educational shelf talker and 50-page booklet,  “55 facts of Smartballs.” This booklet illustrates step-by-step use of Smartballs as well as scientific, historical, and celebrity quotes related to the pleasures of sex and the importance of strong pelvic floor muscles.

The shelf talkers are meant to be educational and serve as sales aids for the retail staff. They are designed to blend into the retail environment and be aesthetically pleasing. Merchandisers can easily customize how they use these shelf talkers, as they are fully adjustable, removable and only 6 inches in diameter. They do not take up any space on the shelves as they are mounted on the edge of the shelves.

In January, Fun Factory revealed a new ergonomic shape for the redesigned Smartballs. The innovative Kegel exerciser had been refined to a teardrop shape for easier insertion and retrieval. The technology used remains unchanged and Smartballs are still the quietest balls on the market. This medically endorsed product is made of silicone and was featured a second time on TMZ last winter as one of the products most associated with the 50 Shades of Grey phenomenon. Smartballs are available in both Uno and Duo models, with one or two balls.

The price for Smartballs Uno and Smartballs Duo is $24.99 MSRP ($12.49 wholesale) for Unos and $29.99 MSRP ($14.99 wholesale) for Duos. As always, Fun Factory enforces a strict MAP policy on all its products to protect retailers and the brand.
