OAKLAND, Calif.—Feelmore Owner wants to do the pumping for you by participating in AIDS/LifeCycle 2015 annual seven-day, 545 mile bike ride with 2,500-plus bicyclists traveling on May 31, 2015, from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
Nenna decided to participate after seeing firsthand the start and finish line for ALC. “The spirit of volunteerism is strong within ALC and I look forward to being apart of it’s continued legacy of solutions.” During the busiest quarters in retail, Nenna still finds time to devote quality hours to training for the bicycle ride that will not only go towards supporting AIDS/HIV but Hepatitis C which affect People of Color at alarming rates.
The realistic yet lofty goal set by Nenna is $10,000 which must be raised in order to participate in this incredible event. “I set a huge goal to make it intentionally uncomfortable for me. It’s not easy for individuals living with AIDS/HIV/Hepatitis C, so why should the process to participate be any easier. I’m excited yet somber to do my part in this incredible event.”
Nenna is asking for donations to be made to AIDS/LifeCycle on her behalf (www.tofighthiv.org/goto/Feelmore). To date, vendors Honey’s Place, Holiday Products and Eldorado have donated. “Those donations were the start and made me light up when they came through especially the monetary support from Ken and Melissa (Holiday Products).
This fundraising effort is to help end AIDS/HIV/Hepatitis C is 100% tax deductible and again donations can be made online at:(www.tofighthiv.org/goto/Feelmore).
