When the dust settled, Fairvilla Megastore in Cape Canaveral had once again hosted a sold out Ladies Night. With approximately 550 women in attendance and 20+ vendors on hand, Thursday, March 22 was definitely an evening to remember. The Brevard Humane Society received a check for $2,000 and the attendees walked away with arms full of free merchandise and prizes.
The evening started at 6 p.m. with 50 VIP guests receiving extra-special treatment. Besides tasty cheesecakes, a chocolate fountain, martinis and champagne (which was later enjoyed by all the attendees), the group was able to interact with representatives from novelty and video manufacturers as well as apparel representatives. Guests also played games with Fairvilla staff; “Pump it till it Pops” and the “Dildo Derby” were popular all night long!
At 7 p.m. the general admission flowed in, and the event really got going. All ages and demographics were in attendance: mothers with daughters, sisters, office groups, bachelorette parties, a few men even showed up with their wives.
Live music was performed by Howl at the Moon, women volunteered to sit in the Pleasure Swing, and others couldn’t wait to be tied down to Sportsheets! At 9 p.m., to the delight of many onlookers, the ever-popular male dance revue hit the stage. According to Fairvilla Marketing Director, Debra Peterson, “The women had a wonderful time. Several said this was the best Ladies Night we’ve ever produced.”
It took 40 Fairvilla staff members to work the event. “It’s important that our guests enjoy the atmosphere of our store. To do that, you need a large staff to oversee all of their needs and the needs of the vendors.”
