HIGHTSTOWN, N.J.—The votes are in and East Coast News, a global leader in adult novelty distribution, won big at Tuesday’s inaugural “O” Awards, held in conjunction with the AVN Novelty Expo in Universal City, Calif.
ECN snagged the top award for “Outstanding Distributor – East” at the ceremony, which took place at the Sheraton Universal and Hilton Los Angeles. Described as “part awards ceremony, part cocktail party, all fun,” the first “O” Awards event honored outstanding achievement in the pleasure product industry.
ECN was recognized for “exceptional service and sales of a distributor,” and sales executives from all three ECN locations couldn’t be happier. Winners at the 2009 "O" Awards were originally nominated by industry professionals and from there, an advisory panel of more than 100 industry insiders, AVN novelty writers and reviewers cast their votes.
