CineKink to Offer Gift Bags, Performances and More at Tenth Annual Festival Kickoff Gala

NEW YORK—CineKink, the film festival dedicated to celebrating sex, kink and fetish, has announced it will be offering its Gala Kickoff visitors some great gift bag treats for its tenth annual festival.

The Gala Kickoff gift bags, offered to the first 100 Gala attendees, will feature DVDs showcasing the award winners from past CineKink award winners, as well as promotional items from Clips4Sale, Reload, ainsley-t/Les Jeux du Marquis, TakeDown Piracy, KinkyMedical.net, the Leather Archives & Museum, and more.

The CineKink Gala Kickoff, held at Taj (48 W. 21st St, NYC, NY) invites festival-goers to attend in all their shiny finery to help kick off the festival’s tenth anniversary in proper style. An evening to embrace fantasy and a pansexual celebration of epic proportions, in addition to sexy performances, the opening night gala will feature such cinematic offerings as 50 Seconds of 50 Shades, an extremely abridged version of the literary classic, plus an erotic, hand-drawn animation, Naked Love, and the experimental short work, Impact, featuring appearances from several of New York’s most infamous, kinky luminaries.

Scheduled for Feb. 26-March 3, CineKink(http://cinekink.com) NYC will feature a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality. In addition to screenings, plans for the festival also include a short film competition, audience choice awards, a special adult entertainment showcase, and a gala kick-off event, along with retrospective screenings commemorating a decade's worth of kinky programming. A national tour will follow, showcasing audience favorites from the NYC festival selections in cities such as Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Seattle, Portland, Miami, Berlin, and more throughout the year, adding to sponsor visibility nationwide and year-round.

Billing itself as "the kinky film festival," the event is presented by CineKink, an organization dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film and television. With offerings drawn from both the independent cinema world and the adult, works presented at CineKink NYC will range from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, slightly spicy to quite explicit--and everything in between.

“We’ll be putting on quite a celebration to kick-off our tenth anniversary festivities,” said Lisa Vandever, Co-Founder and Director of CineKink. “We’re referring to it as our ‘Decade of Decadence,’ and looking forward to quite an extravaganza.”
