CHINO, Calif.—California Exotic Novelties has partnered with Boston University by donating mini massagers and flyers about Club CalExotics—the company’s online community that is a resource for information about sex, intimacy, and pleasure products—for the school’s Wellness Program Kits.
The Boston University Wellness Program Kits are designed to offer students educational materials about sexual well-being, contraception, STDs, and other topics like stress management and sleep hygiene. Last semester the outreach involved more than 2,000 students.
“We applaud Boston University and their commitment to sexual wellness,” said Susan Colvin, CEO and president of CalExotics. “Their mission aligns with ours, which is to help educate and inform the public about sex-related topics and health. We thank them for asking us to be a part of the Wellness Program Kits initiative, and wish them great success!”
Katharine Mooney, wellness coordinator in the office of wellness and prevention services at Boston University, said, “We believe that sexual health and healthy relationships are key components of student well-being, and the Wellness Program Kits provide an educational opportunity for students to learn about risks related to sexual activity, how students can enjoy sex safely, and where they can access resources on the Boston University campus. We thank Susan Colvin and California Exotic Novelties for their contribution!”
