Cal Exotics Sexpert Program Goes Global

CHINO, Calif. After receiving an overwhelmingly positive response in the one week since its release, the Cal Exotics Sexpert Program is being rolled out on a global basis.

Susan Colvin, founder and president of Cal Exotics, explains, “We were delighted by the worldwide response we received once we announced the program. Our original intention was to start the program in the U.S. only and then eventually roll it out globally in a few months. I think part of the excitement was generated by how well our products are perceived overseas. An applicant in Australia wrote us saying that our products ‘are the best on the market’ and that he and his wife both wanted to be Sexperts. We’ve been receiving applications steadily from all over the world.”

Al Bloom, director of marketing for Cal Exotics, adds, “Social networking is now a global phenomenon. People communicate with one another thousands of miles away in milliseconds. By making this a global program, it fortifies our identity as a worldwide company. We are still going to start by recruiting 100 men and women who actively blog and use the social networks. Every month, each Sexpert will receive a new Cal Exotics product based on the information they supplied on their online application. Some of these products haven’t hit stores yet. We ask the Sexpert to review the product and tell their friends about it. We will post the best of their blogs on our website. Our goal is to build worldwide brand awareness for Cal Exotics products as well as drive traffic to our products at retail.

“Becoming a Cal Exotics Sexpert is quite an achievement, given the thorough application process,” Bloom continues. “Once chosen as a Sexpert, the blogger is allowed to display the official ‘Cal Exotics Sexpert’ logo on their website, identifying them as being part of a very select group of opinion leaders.”

Sexpert applicants should go to CalExotics.com/blog/Sexpert/ and click on the Sexperts logo. They will be taken to an online application they can fill out. Within approximately two weeks, those selected will be notified, and made aware of all of the program’s expectations. The program will begin in August.

Colvin sees the program expanding as social networking grows. “I can see this growing to a group of 200 to 300 Sexperts worldwide very quickly. It will be driven by the growth of social networking and the public’s desire for information about an adult toy from a ‘trusted’ friend.”
