Tatyana Designs, Inc., a growing retailer specializing in contemporary designs inspired by the iconic Bettie Page, has announced that it has signed a ten-year lease for a new flagship New York City location.
Located at the trend setting Manhattan address of 303 Bowery St., the NYC store is in the heart of "The Bowery." One of the oldest streets in Manhattan, The Bowery encompasses a narrow strip of Manhattan between Cooper Square and Chatham Square. A neighborhood experiencing rapid gentrification, its juxtaposition of old and new is a microcosm of the melting pot that is New York City. Neighboring stores to the new Bettie Page Boutique include a new John Vivatros, Patagonia, Anthropolgie and Patricia Fields (the stylist for Sex and the City).
"Our newest Bettie Page site is situated in the heart of the hottest and most trend-setting part of New York," said Tatyana Designs Co-CEO Jan Glaser. "New York will be our eleventh Bettie Page boutique, our fifth new opening in 2012, and our third in the East following Philadelphia's opening in August and Boston's opening earlier this month. As one of the 'big four' fashion capitals in the world, New York City will represent a flagship outlet enhancing our brand as we continue our growth."
"Since 2007 modern women have been attracted to our designs fueling the retailing success of our trend setting boutiques," Glaser continued. "We expect our real estate strategy focusing on prime 'street' or up-scale mall locations will continue to contribute to our growth."
