SEATTLE - Babeland, a Seattle-based retail store with sister stores in Los Angeles and New York, is premiering a new line of adult DVDs produced by the staff's favorite independent directors.
The hand-picked titles will be available exclusively at Babeland stores, representing an array of ethnicities and gender dynamics beyond what's usually shown in mainstream porn.
The first title is Max Royale's The New Romantix, a documentary that explores the sexuality of six women, including Ryan Keely and Lexi Bardot. In between interviews where the women open up about their personal lives are seven steamy fantasy sequences that reveal the women's genuine joy in taking charge of their own erotic explorations.
Shot in high-definition, with a budget three times the size of a typical porn, The New Romantix will be released at a party Saturday, Feb. 28, at Babeland stores.
