BERLIN, Germany—From October 13-16, 2016, Berlin was gifted with passion, lust and eroticism for the 20th time. In the exhibition halls under the Funkturm there were already many surprises for the visitors before the convention opened on Thursday, and four artists opened this year's erotic fair with performances: Venus brand ambassador Micaela Schäfer, entertainer Mia Julia Brückner, porn queen Lexy Roxx and playmate and singer Sarah Joelle Jahnel. Beyond that, there were several entertaining and informative shows, countless novelties as well as many stars and starlets to meet. More than 28,000 visitors, buyers and trade visitors from all over the world came to the 20th edition of Europe's largest erotic and lifestyle fair.
For four days and three nights, celebrities celebrated with their fans as well as trade visitors. After a party weekend full of eroticism, the exhibitors are looking back on one of the most successful trade fairs they've attended. That's not surprising, considering that there were over 250 exhibitors from 40 countries, who had all sorts of glittery novelties in their luggage. For example, at the Mystim and Fun Factory booths, visitors experimented with the latest toys. At Beate Uhse, visitors were informed about the hottest trends in lingerie.At the Berlin company Spitzenjunge, where there was hot underwear for the man to admire. At the Reality Lovers booth, a successful combination of high-tech and eroticism was enjoyed. Visitors were able to find themselves in the middle of an erotic film with VR glasses and gave the tact in virtual reality.
In addition, there were numerous other attractions. One of the highlights this year was the Venus StarWalk. There, fans were able to get to know their idols personally, take photos with their favorite stars and secure autographs. For the second time, the Male Revue show Sixxpaxx on the main stage entuced the female visitors well, while many female main acts caused men some hot moments.
Also, for the first time in Venus history, there were guided tours for the visually impaired and blind people. Venus, in cooperation with the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, offered two special tours in which participants were able to experience the different facets of eroticism on the 20th anniversary. Furthermore, Visit-X sent a permanent and free-to-view livestream from the Venus, with several hours of TV material. Of course, there were numerous parties and festivities throughout the trade fair weekend. The legendary Venus Awards were presented on the same day. Stars such as Natalie Hot, Anike Ekina and Jason Steel received the coveted Venus Award.
Next year, the largest erotic and lifestyle fair in Europe will again take place, this time from October 12-15, 2017, with numerous exhibitors, news, stars and starlets from the industry. Visitors can look forward to loads of highlights and attractions.
