LOS ANGELES—Pineapple Support, one of the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofits, has confirmed that the live chat platform SextPanther will increase its support from bronze-level sponsorship to silver-level sponsorship to help the organization expand its reach in the global model community.
SextPanther founder and president Alex said, "Pineapple Support provides critical and potentially life-saving mental health services to the sex work community and we're honored to continue to support their efforts. For the upcoming year, we've decided to increase our Pineapple Support sponsorship level from bronze to silver, to further invest in the health and wellbeing of our friends and peers. We are thankful to Pineapple Support for the work they do every day to ensure that SWs everywhere always have the resources available to those in need. From the bottom of our hearts, we love you."
Pineapple Support was founded by British performer Leya Tanit in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 10,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
Tanit said, "I'm filled with gratitude for the continued support and generosity of SextPanther. SextPanther has consistently shown dedication and commitment to creator well being. The decision to increase support this year is a testament to the gains we are making together. This level of support doesn’t just sustain us, it helps us grow and be bigger than we are. Thank you to Alex and his team for making our industry a better place."
