LOS ANGELES—Veteran adult industry attorney Corey D. Silverstein, the driving force behind MyAdultAttorney.com and Adult.Law, will share his expertise when he joins two expert panels at the interNEXT Expo tomorrow and Thursday.
Silverstein will lead the seminar “Performer Legal Basics” at 5 p.m. ET Wednesday, where he’ll discuss such topics as entity formation, contracts, records keeping and more. He will also speak alongside colleague Lawrence Walters during the “Legal Critical Updates” seminar at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday. Silverstein and Walters will guide attendees through an overview of the climate being created by regulators in response to contemporary censorship and the ways it may impact the business.
“The adult entertainment industry is being attacked by the United States government from both sides of the political aisle and every responsible adult business operator needs to be making preparations now,” Silverstein said. “My colleague and I intend to discuss the facts you need to know and step past the political jabs being thrown.”
In addition to the panel discussions, Silverstein will serve as a guest judge and host during the GFY Awards at 5 p.m. ET on Thursday.
