CYBERSPACE—Attorney Corey D. Silverstein of MyAdultAttorney.com and Adult.Law will lend his expertise and insights on cyberbullying during a webinar Thursday for CentroUniversity.
“Dealing With Cyberbullies,” hosted by MelRose Michaels, takes place Thursday at 2 pm ET. Models may register for the event at CentroUniversity.com.
During the event, Silverstein will discuss individuals’ rights when dealing with cyberbullies and trolls, including practical and safe “daily life” strategies, as well as legal options. Attendees will also learn about criminal versus civil complaints, the difference between police reports and restraining orders, and the best legal options based on specific, individual circumstances.
“I’m thrilled to be returning to Centro University for another essential webinar. Cyberbullying continues to rage out of control, and its victims often aren’t aware of all their practical and legal options,” Silverstein said. “MelRose Michaels is a fantastic advocate and the perfect person to host this discussion.”
Commented Kat Revenga, VP of Marketing for CentroUniversity's parent platform FanCentro, "Corey Silverstein is a master in his field, and we are thrilled to have his advice and guidance when it comes to dealing with cyberbullies. Cyberbullying is a huge issue for influencers. It can affect mental health, emotional well-being, and motivation. Having the tools to successfully deal with trolls and bullies is essential in this industry, and this webinar will be a great opportunity for influencers to learn their rights."
Added Michaels, "Cyberbullies aren't just annoying, they can be a serious threat to your mental health, especially when you don't know how to handle online abuse. Not only that, but if trolls make you afraid to work, your income can take a major hit. It's so important to know what our rights are so we can fight back."
Models may submit questions or specific topics of interest in advance via CentroUniversity.
