TAMPA, FL—Clips4Sale's long-running webinar Legal Zone is returning with its first 2020 episode, which will take place on Monday, January 6, beginning at 1 p.m. PST/4 p.m. EST—and it'll cover pretty much all the hot topics that producers and models want to know about. Topics covered will revolve speech rights, as well as more discussion on California's so-called "gig economy" law, AB5.
The ninth episode of The Clips4Sale Legal Zone will be hosted by top industry IT attorney Corey D. Silverstein and Clips4Sale founder and leader Neil, with special guest attorney Larry Walters. All three will be discussing speech issues, including emoji use, inline linking (aka embedding), and memes, as well as how they can and cannot be used.
The second topic up for discussion will be California’s AB5 law, and how workers who were previously independent contractors could now be reclassified. Neil, Corey, and Larry will tackle new developments, how companies inside and outside California are dealing with this law, how both strictly sales and multi-platform services might change—and a federal judge refusing to reclassify Uber drivers in California and how this could impact workers in our industry. And all throughout the webinar, there will be a live Q&A.
“We’re revisiting AB5 since a lot of our producers and models still have many questions about it and how it will impact their business. The speech portion of the webinar should be interesting as well. It’s a great way to kick off 2020!” assured Clips4Sale founder and leader Neil.
Everyone is invited to attend, whether they're a Clips4sale studio or not. Get the details here, and those who can’t make the live webinar may watch the full video later here.
