ASACP Welcomes LetsDoeIt! as Newest Corporate Sponsor

LOS ANGELESASACP, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection, has announced that adult pay site network LetsDoeIt! is its newest corporate sponsor.

ASACP’s sponsors and members are selected from among the industry’s most respected companies and serve as examples of how corporate responsibility, ethical operation and basic proactive measures all help to protect minors and other online viewers from accidental exposure to age-restricted materials.

In its announcement, ASACP wrote that LetsDoeIt! is on the frontline of the need for child protection by featuring the simple “warning” page and free RTA meta-label code to prevent unauthorized access to its flagship website by minors. It also takes extra steps to ensure that its site only displays legal content.

“Even more than being just legal, the most important role of the adult industry is to protect children from a problem that still haunts us today: child pornography and abuse,” said COO Philippe C.R. “LetsDoeIt! only works with adult companies and producers that share this important point of view and cooperate against this very serious matter.” Unlike other competitors in the industry, LetsDoeIt! does not allow user uploads and operates with legally licensed content only.

ASACP executive director Tim Henning said that the nonprofit association relies on the support that it receives from companies such as LetsDoeIt!, which are willing to assume a leadership role in the fight to keep children out of and away from adult-oriented materials.

“ASACP’s sponsors don’t just talk about ‘doing the right thing,’ they actually do the right thing, by taking tangible action,” Henning said. “By supporting the association and its initiatives, our sponsors share in our success at improving the overall safety of children’s daily digital lives.”

ASACP sponsors such as LetsDoeIt! make possible the association’s 25-year record of success by underwriting free child protection resources; including market-specific Best Practices and a comprehensive Code of Ethics for businesses, app publishers, and all operators of age-restricted websites.

Leading ASACP’s achievements are its RTA (Restricted To Adults) meta-labeling system that helps parents prevent children’s access to adult-oriented webpages and mobile apps, and its CP Reporting Tipline, which has earned global accolades for processing more than 1 million user reports. As with all of ASACP’s services, these tools are provided free of charge, thanks to the association’s sponsors.

“ASACP is grateful to LetsDoeIt! for its ongoing commitment to the association and for stepping up as a Corporate Sponsor, underscoring its industry leadership,” Henning concluded. “We encourage other media brands to follow LetsDoeIt!’s lead in sponsoring the association and empowering our mission to improve child safety.”
