ASACP Honors CAM4, Streamate and Gamma Entertainment as Sponsors

LOS ANGELESASACP, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection, has named CAM4, Streamate and Gamma Entertainment as its final Featured Sponsors for 2021.

Selected from among the industry’s most respected companies, ASACP’s Featured Sponsors represent what the organization calls “prime examples of how corporate responsibility, ethical operation and simple, proactive measures help to protect minors and other online users from accidental exposure to age-restricted materials.”

ASACP executive director Tim Henning credited the nonprofit association’s ongoing success to the continuing support from companies and organizations willing to assume a proactive leadership role in the fight to keep children away from adult content.

“Online child protection is not a one-and-done deal, but a commitment to doing the right thing, each day and every day,” Henning said. “By supporting ASACP and its initiatives, our family of sponsors enables us to raise awareness and to provide solutions across the growing range of digital media platforms.”

He added: “With another year of unprecedented challenges coming to an end, now is the time for the industry to follow its leaders and get onboard with ASACP and the incredible work that it does.”

ASACP relies on the generous guidance and support from sponsors for its successes such as the release of free child protection resources like market-specific Best Practices along with a comprehensive Code of Ethics for businesses, app publishers, and all operators of age-restricted websites.

One of ASACP’s most notable achievements is its RTA (Restricted To Adults) meta-labeling system that helps prevent children’s access to adult-oriented web pages and its CP Reporting Tipline, which has processed more than 1 million reports.

As with all of ASACP’s services, these tools are free of charge, thanks to the organization’s sponsors.

In its announcement, all three new sponsors were hailed by ASACP for their dedication to protecting minors from adult materials.

“The global nature of this business (with varying documentation requirements in different jurisdictions) and the physical separation between the company and its contractors make it a daunting proposition to ensure that performers, let alone viewers are of legal age. Because of these challenges, ASACP offers a stringent set of Best Practices tailored to the specific needs of live cam site operators, which CAM4 incorporates,” the company wrote.

Streamate’s director of marketing Liz R said her company’s support of ASACP is unwavering as it continues its sponsorship for another year: “As a long-standing member of the ASACP, we are honored to continue supporting the organization, which works tirelessly to defend the industry and its commitment to protecting children and the fight against exploitation,” she said. “There has never been a more critical time for the industry to stand up in unified support of organizations such as ASACP.”

The organization also hailed Gamma Entertainment, which has been a Corporate Sponsor since 2006. Montreal-based Gamma Entertainment “illustrates the commitment that the adult entertainment industry’s most prominent players make towards keeping children out of and away from adult entertainment,” ASACP wrote.
