ASACP Announces Epoch, BongaCams, GFY as Featured Sponsors

LOS ANGELES—The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced Epoch, BongaCams, and GFY as its Featured Sponsors for February 2024.

ASACP is a nonprofit association that relies on the support of companies, organizations, and individuals to take a proactive leadership role in protecting children from online harm.

ASACP’s Featured Sponsors are respected leaders in the industry who demonstrate corporate responsibility, ethical business practices, and technical measures to protect minors and other sensitive users from accidental exposure to age-restricted materials online.

Executive director Tim Henning expressed gratitude for the continued support from ASACP's family of sponsors, adding that their help enables the association to shape the future of online child protection, age verification, and adult access to age-restricted content while safeguarding the innocence of youth.

ASACP’s sponsors provide guidance and support, making the association’s success possible. From free child protection resources to adult market-specific best practices and a comprehensive code of ethics for app and age-restricted website publishers, ASACP offers tools companies can use to prevent minors from accessing age-restricted content. At the top of ASACP’s achievements is its RTA (Restricted To Adults) meta-labeling system, which prevents children from accessing adult-oriented web pages and apps, and its CP Reporting Tipline, which has processed over 1.25 million reports and remains a vital global resource.

The association’s valuable sponsors, including February’s Featured Sponsors—Epoch, BongaCams, and GFY—continue to make these tools available.

Epoch

A founding Platinum Sponsor that has supported ASACP for more than 20 years, Epoch is a payment facilitator, enabling merchants to process transactions online and through mobile devices, accepting global payments for digital products and services while earning a reputation for legitimacy and oversight of client web properties.

Epoch takes an active, two-pronged approach to child protection. First, by ensuring that its services are not used by illegal websites selling materials depicting underage performers; and secondly, by providing dedicated service to the association’s advisory committee, which helps set the responsible standards and practices for legitimate adult entertainment and other companies. Epoch also provides boardroom facilities for ASACP meetings and other tangible assets.

Epoch’s responsible corporate philosophy puts the protection of children at the highest of priorities, exemplifying the type of industry-leading company that makes up ASACP’s most valued sponsors.

BongaCams

As a trusted ASACP Title Sponsor since 2016, live adult cam platform BongaCams takes the protection of children online very seriously.

“Since children might not only visit adult content websites but also attempt to become paid performers, we take extra care to ensure they do not receive this opportunity,” said a BongaCams spokesperson. “Our collaboration with ASACP is based on BongaCams’ aspiration to prevent child exploitation on the internet, and we do our best to secure their safety online.”

“BongaCams strictly prohibits streaming or uploading pedophilic content and takes on the obligation to contact relevant authorities if such activity is suspected. Thanks to ASACP’s support, the general public can report on any questionable content and thus minimize the spread of child pornography,” the spokesperson explained. “The service provided by ASACP is fully anonymous, so BongaCams’ visitors can feel safe reporting any suspicious videos—and therefore, the fight against child exploitation will be maximally effective.”

GFY

An In-Kind Media Sponsor since 2021, GFY.com is known for its lively community and uncensored discussions. GFY features a range of dedicated message boards devoted to topics ranging from casual commentary to in-depth adult and mainstream business discussions. In addition, educational forums and marketplaces for content, jobs, services, and traffic round out the GFY experience.

GFY’s “Where the Industry Meets” tagline underscores its value as a veteran resource, event host, and touchpoint for the adult digital media business.

ASACP would like to thank Epoch, BongaCams, and GFY for their support, generosity, and leadership in supporting the association’s mission to prevent children from accessing adult-oriented content. Henning concluded by stating that ASACP sponsors are helping the association build a better world for consenting adults and society’s most vulnerable members. “This is an honorable mission that the association will continue to embrace.”
