HILLSBOROUGH, NC—When it comes to sex, AdamEve.com, one of America’s most trusted sources for adult products, doesn’t shy away from the hard questions. This month, it's back with new results from its annual sex survey, where it asked over 1,000 adults their thoughts on the legality of abortion.
Regarding this controversial subject, 37% of the female respondents and 30% of the male respondents believe abortion should be legal in all cases, while 37% of the female respondents and 36% of the male respondents believe it should be legal in most cases. Conversely, 18% of the females polled and 25% of the males polled said abortion should be illegal in most cases, and 8% of the female respondents and 9% of the male respondents said abortion should be illegal in all cases.
"Since the 1970s, abortion has been legal but restricted by states to certain degrees,” noted Dr. Jenni Skyler, resident sexologist at Adam & Eve. “Making a decision like this is very personal for the parties involved. However, the right to have this as an option is key for women’s rights and reproductive safety."

The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices.
