LAS VEGAS—Attorney Eric M. Bernstein, founder of embalaw.com, will be offering free legal consultation, and taking questions and answers at scheduled discussion groups to adult talent, business owners, webmasters and anyone who does business in the adult industry at the upcoming AEE show. Bernstein will be offering his extensive knowledge on legal matters unique to the adult industry throughout the run of AEE, which runs January 18-21 in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel.
Given that 2012 is an election year, content piracy continues to run rampant, and numerous entities in and out of the adult industry continue to threaten the livelihood and profitability of many adult businesses, there should be plenty of concern for legitimate adult companies to stay in business and what the year could potentially bring, for better and for worse.
Additionally, Bernstein will be speaking on the "Not In My Backyard!" panel at the ANE show, Wednesday, January 18, from 10:00am - 11:00am, offering his experienced legal opinion on zoning laws and requirements for adult businesses. He will be joining an esteemed group of successful retailers on this panel.
With nearly 30 years of legal experience representing numerous public and private entities throughout North America as general counsel, Bernstein is extremely well versed in government, employment, zoning and adult industry matters. Mr. Bernstein is widely recognized as one of the premiere attorneys in the adult entertainment business and regularly speaks on legal panels and delivers workshops at AEE, ANE, Internext, The Phoenix Forum and the YNOT Summit (formerly known as Cybernet Expo). As well, Bernstein prefers to take a much more personal approach when dealing with current and prospective clients, making himself and his company very accessible during and after show floor hours.
This year, Bernstein will be joining YNOT.com, the adult internet's longest running webmaster resource site, to help educate and support adult businesses in the Paradise Tower, where the meeting rooms are located, near the main show floor. Adult internet veteran and VP of YNOT.com, Jay Kopita, who has been working in a marketing capacity for Eric M. Bernstein & Associates since 2005, will be assisting with the discussion groups.
"The Adult Entertainment Expo has always been one of my favorite shows in the adult space. My firm has been attending, exhibiting and speaking at it for the better part of ten years. We always appreciate AVN's efforts to create one of the best arenas for B2B and B2C opportunities, and I'm hopeful that 2012 will prove to be a year that more and more adult businesses put additional effort into dotting their I's and crossing their T's so to speak, with running their businesses legally."
Prospective new clients who retain the legal services with Mr. Bernstein at the AEE and ANE shows will receive a significant discount off the firm's usual rates. As well, attendees who join the discussion groups will be entitled to premium items and giveaways.
