LOS ANGELES—Adult retailer The Pleasure Chest has a month’s worth of event planned for celebrate Pride in Los Angeles in June.
In-house workshops and outreach events are planned.
“Pleasure Chest was founded in the Stonewall era a few blocks from the Stonewall Inn. Pride is an important time of year for us as a company. Our yearly participation in Pride celebrations and our Pride programming gives us an opportunity to connect with our community in fun and meaningful ways,” said Sarah Tomchesson, head of business operations.
All month long, The Pleasure Chest is showing their love with a series of queer-themed workshops designed to give folks a safe space to explore identity, gender and sexuality. There will be classes on Queering Your Sex, Strapping On, Booty Play, Electroplay, and a range of S&M topics.
During L.A. Pride weekend, the Outreach Team will be on hand at various events representing The Pleasure Chest with free giveaways, mini-workshops, and other sexy surprises. The highlight of the weekend will be in the Leather Tent at the Dyke Day LA event, where our team of Sex Specialists will be offering free mini-workshops on Queering Your Sex, Spanking, BDSM and Bondage Basics. Wherever you end up at Pride, look out for the colorful crew wearing Pleasure Chest t-shirts and grab some free pins, fans, and maybe a spanking or two.

Wednesday, June 20 – Awaken Your Senses 8-10 p.m.
Wednesday, June 27 – Advanced Butt Sex 8-10 p.m.
All workshops are free to attend and will be held at Pleasure Chest Los Angeles, 7733 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90046. No registration is required. Attendance is on a first come, first served basis.
