LOS ANGELES—Luxxxe Studios' debut feature film, Friends in Heat, announced it has wrapped up its final scene for Season One.
The final scene, which was shot in late September, stars Justin Yurmouth as Jake Carmichael and comes with a big surprise—iconic performer Aaron Trainer cast as Jake’s long-time crush and law school buddy, Todd Ramsey.
Luxxxe Studios exclusive model and Executive Brand Ambassador, Justin Yurmouth, reflected on the making of the first season.
“I am very proud to be a part of this production,” Yurmouth said. “The cast and crew did a superb job in bringing JD Daniels’ vision to life. Fans are really going to enjoy the Friends In Heat series, and I’m sure they will be eager for Season 2.”
Luxxxe Studios officials announced that as of Tuesday, October 25, that an official release date of the first episode entitled “A Blast From The Past” would be premiering on Dec. 30.
The series is directed by Jasun Mark and executive produced by JD Daniels. Yurmouth and popular star Brian Bonds lead the cast.
The Luxxxe Studios founder/CEO JD Daniels remarked, “I’m delighted to have for this particular scene of the series, dear friend and award-winning performer, Aaron Trainer portray the role of Todd Ramsey, which was a fun role that was not only suitable but was made for him to play.
“Both Aaron and Justin hit it off in the scene with flying colors as this scene was an amazing and unforgettable experience and marked by the cast and crew as an all-time favorite being of the intense passion, performance, the look and feel of the set, and sexual tension both performers have had for each other for quite sometime to film together. And I'm glad that long-awaited tension and passion was expressed and captivated here in the ‘Friends In Heat’ series."
Daniels continued, ”Aaron was by far absolutely the best choice to play Todd knowing of his professionalism, his amazing acting abilities, charm, down-to-earth personality, and kindness to others on and off set. He's also one I can call one of my true friends in the business who gives great advice, one who's attentive and understanding of the nature of the scene, and who is a team player on and off screen. Couldn't have asked for a better person to help achieve my vision for the scene along with Justin and Brian.”
Daniels said he was impressed by Yurmouth and Trainer’s enthusiasm and energy for the project.
“And I couldn’t ask for a better pair to help pull off my version for this particular scene in any other way,” JD added. “Also, to have Brian Bonds intertwined in this scene as well is what's really gonna shock viewers.
"I'm confident audiences and fans are throughly gonna enjoy what Aaron and Justin bring to the table… The groundbreaking scene of the series does involve the other key lead of the series, Brian Bonds, in the background, but we'll divulge more of his involvement closer to the scene’s release as we should leave a little mystery to the scene. All I can say is it'll blow you away as it did for me along with the cast and crew on set.”
Aaron Trainer said he was thrilled to come back for the series’ continuation—the second and final season in 2023.
“Super excited to be a part of Luxxxe Studios production of ‘Friends in Heat,’” Trainer said. “Working with old and new friends makes it so easy that it doesn’t seem like work! The level of professionalism is unmeasurable. It feels right. Everyone working together to bring JD’s vision to life. Season 2 here we come!”
JD Daniels also expressed his appreciation for Jasun Mark and Anthony Duran.
“Who are a hell of an amazing powerhouse team who helped make my vision for the ‘Friends In Heat’ series way far better than I ever imagined,” Daniels said. “This scene was deeply special and personal to me because it'll be the first project and directorial debut of both me and Jasun Mark collaborating as co-directors. Being that we both had a special part in the scenes’ creativity in help bringing the film to life according to my vision.”
Jasun Mark remarked, “Directing this movie has been a blast. Luxxxe let us create the world we wanted to make. It was bright and open and sexual. Or it was dark and intense at night. It was loud and proud. We were able to just make the movie we wanted to make. Some sets were tight spaces. Some were out in the open. But what we got was totally our collective vision of the story. Each scene has a different look and feel. This was JD giving his ideas to us… and trusting us to make it real. We also got a cast that were just a dedicated to making a porn movie we’d all want to watch. This hasn’t been easy, but nothing worth doing is easy. If this was easy, everyone would do it. But we did it.”
Director of Photography Anthony Duran echoed their sentiments.
"Working with JD on a new movie for a new studio is something not a lot of producers get to do,” Duran said. “Working with my good friend Jasun Mark has always been great but being able to share a new movie like this with him has been a lot of fun.
“JD’s vision is a more story-based narrative and with a cast like this who are experienced in acting and performing, we’re going to have something really special for you very soon.”
