CYBERSPACE—Zbuckz CEO Danny Zeeman and director Dominic Pacifico have announced that they have found an effective way to minimize risks of shooting in Brazil, and that therefore, they are back in active production for Rawhole, Zbuckz’s shot-on-location male bareback site.
The year-old website had shown some success in its initial months, but then COVID-19 became a pandemic and the adult industry was forced to shut down worldwide. Travel restrictions and lack of adequate testing and treatment meant director Pacifico had no choice but to wait it out and hope for improvement. During the nine months that Pacifico was unable to return to Brazil, Pacifico Entertainment developed what it believes are practical and effective safety protocols for testing and risk reduction there. COVID-19 testing in Brazil has ramped up to the point that models can get an inexpensive test at a local pharmacy, obtain immediate results and be able to work the next day. Testing for the virus has been added to the full panel of STD testing already required.
Pacifico has based Rawhole’s production in São Paulo because of the diversity and variety of beautiful men there, and Rawhole visitors can welcome back many of the site’s original models plus a new stable of hot, hung stars. One of many challenges in shooting has been the language barrier, in a country where English is not widely spoken.
“Interesting working there. The models do not speak English. I’ve had to adapt and be creative in how I communicate. I’ve now learned some Portuguese and will continue picking it up as a second language,” he reported. “Pacífico Entertainment sticks to the same safety standards as any other professional studio in the US. We make sure models and staff are tested, safe, and comfortable on our location sets.”
Zeeman has commended Pacifico for coming up with practical and creative solutions to shooting in a Third World country hit hard by the pandemic.
