LOS ANGELES—Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IsMyGuy, a social media platform for male models, influencers and adult entertainers to monetize their content and fans, has agreed to give all of its verified models 100 percent commission on all sales (after credit card processing) until June.
This effort, called the Pandemic Relief Package, aims to ease the financial burden on both existing and new models on IsMyGuy and its sister sites, IsMyGirl and Inked Girls during the global pandemic and resulting financial crisis.
“Given the difficult circumstances right now with COVID-19, we wanted to provide a stimulus package to our models that can help them support themselves and their families, as well as spur the economy. We are announcing 100 percent commission for all through June 1,” said Evan Seinfeld, CEO and co-founder of IsMyGirl, 20-year adult industry veteran, multi-platinum musician and actor. “Most other subscription sites currently offer a 60/40, 70/30 or 80/20 revenue share. We’re having our models keep 100 percent of their earnings for the next two months, after credit card processing fees which comes out to 87.5 percent. We are basically kicking all the revenue from our entire platform back to our models.”
Seinfeld added, “No one should have to deal with financial hardships right now and we want our models to know how much we appreciate their hard work and the incredible culture they have built for the IsMyGirl model community.”
Over the last two weeks, IsMyGuy has experienced a 40 percent increase in sales, 400 percent rise in new model signups and 50 percent increase in overall traffic.
“This offer will also be extended to models just signing up to IsMyguy.com as well. They will receive the same 100 percent commission payout from day one,” said Kristofer Weston, executive director.
As part of IsMyGuys’ relief package, the company is donating to the Free Speech Coalition’s Emergency Fund. Models on IsMyGirl, IsMyGuy and Inked Girls will also have an option to donate a part of their earnings to the FSC. Those wishing to donate to FSC, can do so by visiting the IsMyGuy Model Portal and clicking the link to donate directly to FSC, or visiting the FSC website directly.
“We’re grateful to IsMyGuy.com and its sister sites for contributing to the Emergency Fund, as well as all their work for helping performers generate income during this shutdown,” said Michelle L. LeBlanc, FSC executive director. “We are heartened to see all the ways adult businesses and workers are coming together to make sure we all get through this.”
