Prominent veteran gay adult star Bruce Beckham has pledged to donate 100% of his April OnlyFans earnings to charity—specifically The Center for Disaster Philanthropy, a charity that has earned a 4-star Charity Navigator rating and is also a trusted philanthropic partner of Google. The charity has a dedicated COVID-19 Response Fund. This fund allows donors to give now to support preparedness, containment, response and recovery activities.
Bruce was inspired by fellow star Liam Riley’s pledge to donate his April Fleshjack earnings.
“I’m fortunate enough to have a safe income stream from my OnlyFans, while so many are struggling or putting themselves at risk by saving lives in hospitals," Beckham noted. "Many of my friends who work in nightlife or on Broadway live paycheck-to-paycheck and found themselves suddenly unemployed and scrambling to pay rent and buy food. If all my needs are met, yet there are so many others who are struggling to survive right now, who am I to not donate as much as I can to help others survive during this once in a century or millennium crisis? Now is the most important time to be selfless, and help where we can, and I’m trying to encourage others in my industry and elsewhere to join me in doing so.”
Bruce is in the upper 7.8 percentile of OnlyFans earners, but many performers earn much more than he, so Beckham has issued a challenge to all performers in the higher earning brackets to donate any percentage of their earnings to support COVID-19 relief efforts.
Upper tier OnlyFans earners gross as high as 5 figures per month from their content, although Bruce earns less than that.
In addition, Bruce challenges OnlyFans itself to make a significant donation to relief efforts, as it collects 20% of all performers’ subscription fees.
A subscription to Bruce’s OnlyFans is $5 a month, and includes scenes with top performers like Alex Mecum and Jason Vario as well as solo material, and all April earnings will be verified to Str8UpGayPorn, along with verification of his donation to The Mayor’s Fund for transparency.
Bruce views this as a win/win: subscribers will have full access to all of his content and the entirety of their April subscription fee, minus the 20% OnlyFans collects, will go to charity.
