MONTREAL—Disruptive Films has announced the release of "Get Lost in Honeyguide," the second installment of the feature Honeyguide.
“Get Lost in Honeyguide” brings audiences deeper into the complicated relationship between Alaric Spence (Hoss Kado) and Brooks Dunham (Trevor Brooks).
Jessica Jasmin, director and producer, said, "In the second chapter of the movie, we delve deeper into the heart of the story, offering a closer look at our main characters, Alaric and Brooks. This segment is particularly pivotal for Alaric, as it gradually reveals his true intentions in a slow build-up to the dramatic finale. Audiences will be introduced to Brooks’ eccentric family, each member grappling with their own unique challenges, adding layers of complexity to the narrative."
Adding to those layers is the introduction of Kelly Dunham, the patriarch of the Brooks family, played by Ian Holmes.
Reflecting on his character, Holmes noted, "It’s clear my character repressed his homosexuality for the worldly financial comfort his wife provided. If I were to give him advice, it would be for him to have tried to reassess if that dynamic was still working for him. It seemed clear he was toxic to his family because of it, and it made him make foolish choices, so I don’t think the dynamic was serving him well anymore."
"Get Lost in Honeyguide" is now streaming on ASGmax.
