ATLANTA—FlavaMen’s Blatino Awards has announced the special-guest lineup for the presentation ceremony, to take place during Atlanta’s Black Pride celebration Saturday. The event is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. at Club 708.
Toccara, a fashion model and host of BET’s live game show “Take the Cake,” will host the awards show. Guest hosts include Chicago’s comedic “Heavy Diva” Otis Mack and “the Oprah of Drag,” Ms. Ruff N’ Stuff. Gay hip hop artist Anye Elite is slated to provide musical entertainment. Award presenters include Dwight O’Neal of Christopher Street TV, and Ray Cunningham of BET’s “College Hill.”
In July, FlavaMen magazine announced the inaugural slate of Blatino Awards nominees. According to a spokesman, the awards will be presented to recognize ethnic clubs and promoters, adult stars and studios, and films and websites by and for men of color.
