CHICAGO—Industry observer, blogger, party host and perpetual social butterfly Jason Sechrest will host the annual Grabby Awards pre-party May 28 in Chicago. For the first time in the history of the event, Edge Radio will broadcast the show live online.
Dubbed “Cocktails at Cocktail,” the party is expected to feature the usual erotic mayhem in addition to the on-stage grilling of more than 30 gay adult performers including Falcon Studios exclusives Roman Heart, Erik Rhodes and Landon Conrad; Channel 1 Releasing exclusive Mitchell Rock, Adam Killian, Josh Griffin, Drew Cutler, Steven Daigle and Jason Ridge. C1R co-founders Chi Chi LaRue and Doug Jeffries also are scheduled to submit to scrutiny.
“Cocktails” will mark the third time Sechrest has hosted a pre-Grabbys event.
As a prelude, Edge Radio has scheduled a weekly series of performer interviews featuring the men of Sechrest’s talent agency, DV8 Casting. The interviews will run each Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET at EdgeRadioShow.com.
“Believe it or not, everyone always seems to leave their drama and their egos at the door for Grabby Awards weekend, and that’s what makes it really special and something to look forward to every year,” Sechrest said. “It’s one big, fun family reunion, and I’m always grateful when I am chosen to be a part of the year’s festivities.”
“Cocktails at Cocktail will take place 6-9 p.m. ET at Cocktail, 3359 N. Halsted in Chicago. A $5 cover is required at the door. Studio giveaways will be raffled during the evening, with the proceeds benefitting local charities.
