LONDON—Prolific gay Britporn director Adam Bailey’s Seal Productions has shed its bareback past and will produce condoms-only content in the future. The reason, according to Bailey, is a brand-new partnership with UK-based Portland International Sales Ltd., which operates primarily in the broadcast realm and will not deal in bareback content.
Despite the genre change the partnership requires, Bailey is excited about the relationship because it will free him to focus entirely on the creative side of XXX moviemaking while Portland takes over the day-to-day business drudgery.
One thing the new relationship will not change is Seal’s DVD North American distribution arrangement with Pacific Sun Entertainment.
According to Pacific Sun Production and Marketing Director Michael LaBarbera, “Pacific Sun Entertainment is pleased to be working with Portland International Sales to continue to bring our customers the very same, high-quality Seal Productions that have been such sure-fire sellers.”
The first title scheduled for release under the new operating agreement is Sex Pub, a tale of randy Brit lads who eagerly embrace any excuse to have a sexual romp with customers of the pub they run. The title is expected to hit the streets April 2. A preview is available online.
