NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Czech muscleman Robert Van Damme's directorial debut has hit the streets.
Robert Van Damme's Private Party is the first in a planned series of three "mystery porn" titles from Robert Van Damme Productions. Private Party 2 and Private Party 3 are expected to follow later this year.
The Private Party series follows the adventures of Van Damme and his muscle-stud friends after they receive invitations to a sex party hosted by a mysterious, unseen benefactor.
Van Damme collaborated with award-winning director Gino Colbert on the trilogy in order to benefit from Colbert's experience in the gay adult industry. Prior to filming Private Party, all of Van Damme's experience was on the other side of the lens. He had a vision, though, and Colbert helped him realize it, he said.
"I wanted to film sex with a lot of energy, just like in real life, so while filming, I tried not to stop the action, since I know from my work that stopping drains actors of the energy they need to do the scene right," Van Damme said.
Although Van Damme and Colbert have remained mum about details of the Private Party trilogy, they hinted the mysterious host's identity may be revealed in part three. The third installment also will offer another surprise: Van Damme bottoming for the first time in his career.
"Everyone wants to see me bottom," he said.
Robert Van Damme Productions intends to release at least two other titles during 2009: Anal Intruder and Butt Bouncers. The studio's releases will be distributed by Marina Pacific Distributors.
