CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Video-on-demand provider AEBN has begun streaming Raging Stallion's hardcore gay western To the Last Man in the AEBN network of online theaters.
The VOD launch is a continuation of a promotion that began in February when NakedSword made the title available on its membership website.
NakedSword merged with AEBN in 2007. AEBN acquired Raging Stallion Studios in February 2008.
One of the most acclaimed films of 2008, To the Last Man tells the story of rival ranchers fighting for water rights. The movie sparked controversy by combining graphic violence with hardcore sex. Nevertheless, the title was nominated for a total of 17 2009 GAYVN Awards.
Raging Stallion exclusives Ricky Sinz and Scott Tanner star. Chris Ward, Ben Leon and Tony Dimarco directed.
"To the Last Man is an extraordinary film," AEBN's Chris Baker said. "We are very excited to have cornered the market with a VOD exclusive on this one-of-a-kind film. It will be a treat for our customers to have access to it through the AEBN network.”
Raging Stallion president Chris Ward noted that AEBN's VOD reach will expand the audience for the film.
"We are all very excited that To the Last Man will be made available to AEBN's customer base," he said. "Customers love this movie, and we expect it to be one of the year's biggest online hits."
The first part of the two-part movie, To The Last Man: The Gathering Storm, is now available on the AEBN VOD network. The second part, Guns Blazing, is expected to be available on AEBN later in the spring.
