CHARLOTTE, NC—Focus, the first installment of Raging Stallion Studios’ film noir epic is now available across the AEBN network of online video-on-demand theaters.
Directed by Ben Leon, Tony Dimarco and Chris Ward, Focus is the story of Joe Wilder, a porn-obsessed drifter whose sexual adventure ends in a very startling and unexpected way. Two new Raging Stallion exclusives play the lead roles: Cole Streets portrays Joe, and David Taylor plays Eddie, Joe’s hot boyfriend and a man with a dark and dangerous past. Steve Cruz, Bruno Bond, Ricky Sinz, Ryan Raz and Jason Crew round out the RSS exclusives who appear in the film.
Focus/ReFocus POV, a special bonus disc, showcases some of the point-of-view-style footage from the film. The POV scenes soon will also be available encoded for use with AEBN’s RealTouch device, an AEBN spokesman said.
A softcore cut of Focus/ReFocus recently was picked up for independent mainstream distribution. The hardcore version received more than a dozen nominations for Grabby Awards, including nods in the Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor (Cole Streets, David Taylor, Steve Cruz, Bruno Bond) categories.
“This is a very fine film—so good that it got picked up for mainstream distribution by Hollywood,” Ward said. “The sex is spectacular, the acting excellent and the story line compelling. This is as good as porn gets and really does cross over into a more mainstream kind of adult entertainment.”
According to AEBN’s Chris Baker, “Focus has definitely upheld Raging Stallion’s tradition of cutting-edge porn films. The combination of suspense[ful] plot, POV footage and, of course, great sex makes this a must-see. We’re very excited to offer Focus exclusively to our customers, and we can’t wait until the second part, ReFocus, joins it on our network.”
Baker said ReFocus is expected to be available at AEBN this summer.
