Predatory Angel Owner Released from Hospital

TAYLORS, SC - Predatory Angel Productions owner Aluria Karone was released from the hospital Nov. 11 after suffering a collapsed lung Nov. 6, according to her personal assistant.

Hisagi, the assistant, said Karone was admitted to a hospital at about 10 p.m. after a chest X-ray and the insertion of a chest tube, which was necessary to remove fluid before re-inflating the lung.

"It happened on Sunday night," Karone said. "I instantly knew what happened, but I figured it would re-inflate itself like the last time in a few hours. Four days later my chest was hurting and I was having trouble breathing, so I decided to get things checked out. Next thing I know, the doctor is telling me get to the emergency room as soon as I can.

"This is the second time this has happened," she added. "Back in 2006, it was my left lung. The doctors don't know why it keeps happening. They thought it was a one-time thing; the condition doesn't even happen to women. Spontaneous pneumothorax usually happens to tall, thin males, and I'm just barely five-foot-two."

Karone said the health problem would not delay her Spring 2009 tour plans or curtail her plans to party with fans on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas.
